Generalist by nature, specialized in AI and digital innovation.

I studied business, then taught myself to code and build with AI. Partly out of curiosity, mostly because I got tired of advising on things I couldn’t make myself. Since then I’ve worked across just about every business domain, for various organizations such as the Dutch National Police, ABN AMRO, and many others.

The thing I’m good at: creating (AI) solutions that fit people so naturally, nobody has to be convinced to use them. If adoption needs a change management program, the design wasn’t done right.

I run Atlas Inc., a one-man venture studio that launches and scales several ventures a year together with other founders. In between, I’m writing books, both fiction and non-fiction, about what AI is doing to us and what it could do for us.

Based in Amsterdam and Cape Town, depending on the season. Always up for a good conversation, especially with founders.
